Main Task - Treatment

Working Title: 
What lies Behind…

Synopsis:
The film starts with a group of four girls going on a train together. After sitting on the train, a man clothed in all black will be staring at the girls, watching all their movements. When arriving at the next station the girls split up to take a shortcut home, two go through the park while the other two go in the opposite direction. Whilst walking, the man is following them although they are unaware. After a while they notice the man has been following for a while and they start to make a run for it. The camera then shows a swing set in the park with a doll perched on it, swinging back and forth, to their surprise the man approaches the swing next to it and stares into the distance.

Characters:
Toby:
Antagonist -The man chasing the girls.

Gabriella Wilson:
Friend 1 - One of the girls who takes a shortcut and is chased by the man.

Alicia Williams:
Friend 2 - The other girl who takes a shortcut and is chased by the man.

Maya Larson:
Friend 3 - The other friend who leaves early with friend 4.

Zara Mitchell:
Friend 4 - Leaves with friend 3, Maya.



Film Techniques:
For this task we will be using a variety of many different shots and camera movement.
Examples include:

Mid-Shot
Long Shot
Medium Long Shot
Close Up (Shot/Reverse Shot)
Extreme Long Shot (Establishing Shot)
Eye Level Shot (Most frequently used)
Two Shot
Point of View Shot

In addition we are using:

High-Key Lighting (once or twice)
Low-Key Lighting (frequently used)
Mise-en-scene
Dialogue
Non-Digetic Sound
Synchronous Sound
Pan 

Production Considerations:
In order to film at our two locations the train station and the park, we need signed permits as consent to film there. In addition to this we need signed permits from the parents of our actresses in order for them to star in our film, as this is going online.
